That matters because a breaker that fits the Siemens will not seat correctly in the Square D, and forcing it creates an arc-fault risk. We carry both OEM and quality aftermarket equivalents - the aftermarket breakers we use are UL-listed and match the original trip curve, but we always verify the panel label before quoting.
For the mini-split, Abodu has used Mitsubishi, Daikin, and LG systems depending on the production batch. The refrigerant line sets are factory-flared and pre-charged, which means a generic HVAC tech without Abodu experience often misses the flare angle spec and creates a slow leak. We stock the correct flare nuts and torque specs for each generation.
Signs Your Abodu New Detached ADU Is Failing
- Repeated breaker trips on the ADU subpanel. This usually means the breaker itself has weakened from thermal cycling, or the tenant is running a space heater on the same circuit as the mini-split. In Camarillo’s older neighborhoods like Camarillo Heights, we also see voltage sag during peak afternoon demand that pushes breakers near their trip threshold.
- Mini-split blows cold air in heat mode, or won’t switch modes. The reversing valve coil fails first in coastal California climates because salt air accelerates corrosion on the outdoor unit’s electrical connections. We see this most in ADUs within two miles of the 101 corridor where marine layer moisture lingers.
- Water heater error codes or lukewarm output. Abodu units use tankless electric or heat-pump water heaters depending on the spec. The tankless units scale quickly in Camarillo’s moderately hard water (about 18 grains per gallon), and the flow sensors clog first. The heat-pump models lose efficiency when the intake filter gets packed with dust from nearby agricultural activity.
- GFCIs nuisance-tripping in bathrooms or kitchen. This is often the GFCI itself aging out, not a ground fault.
